2005-05-23 Disjointed Entry and Random News

So, let's see. We had a nice weekend...which involved the usual craziness that weekends seem to around here.

It seems like, at this time of year especially, the weekends, which should be for relaxing after a crazy week of school, work, and extra curricular stuff, always seem to turn in to "we have to go here, do this, buy this etc. etc. etc."

And I think that was a run on sentence.

But anyway.

This weekend coming will be nice. Emily and Katherine will be spending the weekend in New Hampshire with Suzanne and John, and my parents are taking Julia for the weekend. I don't mean that it will be a nice weekend because my kids will be gone by the way. It's just nice that we (Ryun and I) will have the entire weekend to ourselves. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to find time to spend together with three little rugrats running around? Lets just say it's not an easy task.

We are going to go see "The Movie" on Saturday or Sunday, and then have lunch or dinner out, depending on which showing we go to. Ryun went on Friday and saw it on his own, so he could see it uninterupted. Yeah, I am one of those annoying people who asks questions about the movie while it is going on. I whisper at least, which is, you know, good.

What else?

Oh yeah, Ryun and I will be married for 7 years tomorrow! Seven years! Can you believe that? Sometimes it seems like just yesterday and other times, well, it seems like a lifetime ago.

And on a sappy note, let me just say that I love him to pieces. Really, I do.

Also, in other milestones and events news, Emily will be 8 on June 1. Ok? So yeah, let's just not even talk about that. Because it seems virtually impossible that I have been a mother for 8 years. And that she will be in 3rd grade. And that in 8 years she will have her license. Ok , yeah I know I'm pushing it. But really? Eight years old? How in the hell did that happen?

"It's by Dreamworks. The same people who made Shrek, Shrek 2, Shark Tales and Ice Age."

~ Emily ~ (discussing the upcoming Dreamworks release, "Madagascar" with Katherine).

Yup, she's definitely Ryun's daughter.
